World trade growth trade has largely spurred the development of Marine Container Transportation and the variability of cargo delivery routes. Economically fast-growing regions of Asia, including China, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, have catalyzed growth of container transportation market as the most convenient and inexpensive way to deliver their goods to major buyers in North America and Europe.
In Russia, the main cargo flow passes through the ports of the Baltic Sea Basin (the port of St. Petersburg), the Far East Basin (Vladivostok and Nakhodka), and the Azov-Black Sea Basins (the port of Novorossiysk), which account for over 88% of the total port cargo turnover of the country.
In 2016, we adopted a special development strategy that takes into account geographical location in the key port cities of Russia, after which we opened separate Optimalog departments in Vladivostok (2017), St. Petersburg (2017) and Novorossiysk (2021). The following units have full-time employees who organize Marine Container Transportation and customs clearance of cargo arriving at the respective ports.
Shipments arriving at the port of Vladivostok come from:
-
China.
-
Southeast Asia.
-

Average time of marine transportation from these countries is from 5 to 10 days in the standard mode. During high season and / or in case of an instability of the sea freight market, the terms can be increased by the Marine Lines.
Shipments arriving at the port of St. Petersburg come from:
-
China.
-
Southeast Asia.
-
India.
-
Europe.
-
The US and Canada.
-
Countries of South America.
Delivery time from China, SEA and India to St. Petersburg takes about 40–50 days, but in high season and during high demand, the delivery time can take up to 60–70 days.
From Europe, the delivery time is about 7–12 days, depending on remoteness of the country of departure.
Delivery time from the US, Canada and South America ranges from 25 to 50 days, also depending on seasonality and demand.
